The document was turned into a booklet format and printed at Łukasiewicz- ITEE. It can be now distributed among project stakeholders. Project partners worked in collaboration to develop 1. WP3 was discussed during the meeting. In particular we focused on the activities B1. Test projects, B2. Competition rules, B3. Marking schemes. Those documents are necessary to organize skills competitions in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia. They are an innovative material because it aims to transplant a long international tradition of skills competitions into our countries which have recently become members of WorldSkills Europe (Slovakia, Czech Republic) and WorldSkills International (Poland, Romania) and struggle with popularization of the initiative. The partnership developed skills competition documentation which refers to the following skills:
1. IT Network Systems Administration
2. Information Network Cabling
3. Mobile Robotics
4. Electronics
5. Web Development
6. Mechatronics
7. Graphic Design Technology
8. Mechanical Engineering CAD
9. CNC Milling
The majority of skills competitions have already taken place. They were not only industry competitions, but above all an opportunity to learn, exchange experiences and make valuable contacts. The events demonstrated the importance of technical skills in today’s world, and their success confirmed the importance of practical training for young people and school-business cooperation. The competitions focused on trade schools and technical schools as individual entities with the potential to plan and implement skills competitions.
