ŁUKASIEWICZ – INSTITUTE FOR SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES is one of 22 institutes forming the Łukasiewicz Research Network – the third largest R&D network in Europe. ŁUKASIEWICZ – INSTITUTE FOR SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES is a prominent research unit specializing in vocational education and competency development. It develops systems, models and tools supporting and integrating vocational education with innovative economy and labour market. It specializes in professionalization, development of human capital, standardization of vocational qualifications, and improvement of formal and non-formal education programs. ŁUKASIEWICZ conducts research into new occupations, skills and competencies required by advanced industrial technologies and develops modular programs, e-learning platforms and online teaching materials for different professions. As the coordinator, ŁUKASIEWICZ leads various aspects of the SkillsComp project.

WorldSkills Romania is a NGO aiming to develop excellence in skilled trades through vocational education and training, by sharing good practices, and by promoting the VET system as an opportunity for personal success but also for the region’s economic development. WorldSkills acts as a hub for skills excellence and development, following its vision and mission through: Organizing skills competitions; Researching VET and labour market; Promoting career development in skilled trades; Providing learning opportunities for students, teachers and staff of the VET schools; Promoting entrepreneurship as an employability option for young people. WorldSkills operates in Romania under a partnership protocol with the Ministry of Education and with the National Centre for TVET Development since 2016, being able to cooperate with any of the VET schools at national level, involving students, teachers and staff in its activities. WorldSkills Romania works directly with the business community, supporting companies to develop partnerships with the VET schools, aiming to bridge the skills gap and the labour gap.


CZECH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (CCC) is the largest and the most representative business association in the Czech Republic. It has more than 16,000 members organized in 60 regional chambers and in 127 branch associations, membership in the HKCR is voluntary; CCC is the only legal representative of Czech entrepreneurs. By the very nature of its activities, the CCC cooperates directly with SMEs and entrepreneurs, professional organisations and associations or through its chamber network throughout the country. CCC protects the interests of Czech entrepreneurs from all regions and from all sectors except agriculture, food and forestry. CCC has a direct communication line to the state administration, local authorities, representatives of occupational associations, the unions as well as the entrepreneurs and companies. CCC is experienced in implementing national as well as international projects related to VET and Lifelong learning with support of European Structural and Investment Funds, in particular the European Social Fund and the European ERASMUS+ programme.
